Experience true classical dressage in a calm, focused and supportive environment at Pen-Lyn Lusitanos in Wales, UK.
Our classical dressage lessons are designed to develop correct riding through balance, lightness and harmony between horse and rider. Whether you are completely new to classical dressage or looking to refine your skills, each lesson is tailored to your level, allowing you to progress with confidence.
You will ride highly trained Lusitano and Spanish (PRE) horses, known for their natural ability to collect and their generous, willing temperament. These horses are educated in a full range of classical movements, including shoulder-in, leg yield, half pass, travers and renvers. As your riding develops, you may also be introduced to advanced movements such as flying changes, piaffe, passage, pirouettes and Spanish walk.
Lessons take place in our light and spacious 20m x 40m indoor arena, complete with full mirrors on a short wall to support your position and progress, along with a viewing gallery for spectators.
